Carla & Dama - love at first sight
Carlos and Carla are from Peru, and have waited a long time to purchase one
of these noble representatives of their homeland. They found our website and contacted us looking for a calm and cooperative
horse. "Dama" was young, but very sensible and we felt they would be a good match. We finished her training and she headed
for Ontario in May, 2008.
Carla wrote: "Dama is not only beautiful, but what we like the most, is her demeanour, she is so sweet and lovely, she allowed
us to brush her, clean her, and even kiss her!... to be honest I am already in love with her. For us she is not only our
Peruvian horse, she is part of our family..."
Please see our home page for a series of videos of "Dama" in her final couple of days here at Celestina. We love it when
a plan comes together!
Sharon Marshall and La Sequena KK

Sequena came to us on consignment and Sharon quickly recognized a good thing.
They have been together for 3 years now.
Sharon said, "Three years ago I had the good fortune to meet Jocelyn Hastie. At the time I knew only a wee bit about horses
and the PP breed. I did not have any confidence around a horse let alone to ride one or own one.
I immediately felt Jocelyn to be someone I could trust to teach me how to be around a horse. When the opportunity to purchase
my own horse was presented to me, once again I knew I could trust her judgment that this was the horse for me.
Jocelyn’s generosity of sharing her experience, knowledge and wisdom knows no bounds. I can always count on her to help
me through difficult times with my horse.
She is more than a matchmaker – she is also a generous mentor."
Thanks, Sharon. We're glad you and Seqnena found each other, and that we got to be part of it.
Roxanna Rasmussen and Bailarin de Viento VP

We purchased "Bailey" with the intention of training her for resale. Roxanna
decided she was the horse for her. Roxanna rode Bailey on a week long cattle drive where their bonding was complete. They
are now living on Texada Island and have competed in a limited distance endurance ride where they placed very well.

Jean & Blaza - 2007 PHAC High Point Novice
We may not have had much to do with getting these two together, but "Blaza"
was conceived at Celestina and is the eldest offspring of RTP Lunador, the sire of most of our young stock. We are so proud
of them both -- Jean was Canada's High Point Novice rider for 2007 and earned all her points on Blaza. Blaza was also a "novice"
as she was just four years old!

Heather helped Jocelyn out on the show circuit for many years before deciding
the time had come to purchase a horse of her own. "Paco" was that special horse, and they have been a very successful team
in the show ring, winning titles in both the pleasure and performance divisions.

Mike and Santos
Mike and Gail were looking for big, strong gelding and Santos was all that and
then some. They enjoy riding the fields on their acreage south of Okotoks.
Tammy Dechesne and RJT Coqueta

RJT Coqueta
Tammy came to us in the fall looking for a mare that she could work with, leaning
towards showing in the future. "Katie" immediately caught her eye (good eye, Tammy). We look forward to seeing them there
soon.
