he stallions at Celestina Ranch were purchased from Gil and Tereasa Loyd of Hacienda del Noroeste during their retirement sale in 2008.  I purchased three yearling stallion prospects – all sons of HdN Coqueton – and could not be happier with the quality of these boys.  All have been shown, all have done well.  They are all out of dams that demonstrates the commitment Gil and Tereasa have to quality bloodlines and careful breeding.

HdN Jalepeño (JJ) has truly come into his own.   In 2011 at four years of age, he was awarded Canadian National Champion Pleasure Stallion and Reserve Champion Open Performance Horse.   In 2010, he was being awarded Best Bozal horse of show by Dr. Ernesto Sandigo, who rode three bozal horses before making his decision.  JJ also performed well at halter, winning the Bozal Colts class at each show last year and Champion Jr. Stallion.

HdN Rey Majestad is a beautiful horse that descends from the highly prized JRM Replandor blood that is so hard to find in North America. His gait is breathtaking. 2011 was his show ring debut and he was awarded first place in bozal colts, bozal gait and Best Bozal Horse of Show at the Canadian Nationals. We think you’ll be impressed.
